In Theaters – September 2nd, 2011

Sink your teeth into three perfect flicks that signal the end of the summer blockbusters and kick off the fall movie season.

The Debt, stars Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington and Tom Wilkinson in an espionage thriller. The story begins in 1997.  Retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Mirren) and Stefan (Wilkinson) get disturbing news about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds).

All three agents have been recognized by their country for decades thanks to a mission they accepted in 1966. The trio (portrayed in flashbacks by Jessica Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington) tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team’s mission was accomplished – so it seems anyway. The suspense takes place over two different time periods, with plenty of action and shocking disclosures.

The Debt is a nice way to greet the upcoming autumn movie race, yet the end of the summer means barbeques, outdoor activities and the last of the big action films.

That’s where horror/sci-fi entries Apollo 18 and Shark Night 3D come into the picture.

Apollo 18 surrounds the discovery of decades old footage from NASA’s abandoned Apollo 18 mission. Two American astronauts were sent on a secret expedition and as the footage reveals, answer the question as to why the U.S. has never returned to the moon.

Shark Night 3D is a bloody shark victim romp (for those of us horror addicts out there) set in the fresh waters of Louisiana. Seven vacationers hit the water and are terrorized by shark attacks.

Grab the 3D glasses, a huge bucket of popcorn, sit back and enjoy the ride…without questioning the plot of course.
