Bridesmaids is the raunchy hit comedy about, Annie (Kristin Wiig), a woman who is picked to be her best friend’s maid of honor. Lovelorn and broke, Annie looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids. Melissa McCarthy is a standout.

 

 

Spooky Buddies is the Halloween installment of the Buddies franchise. Is it possible to resist cute puppies that talk? Probably not. Plus, it’s a fun holiday comedy that won’t scare the little kids too badly.

 

 

 

 

Dumbo 70th Anniversary Edition is the beloved tale about an elephant with super-sized ears, who is ostracized by the other elephants until he learns how to fly. He realizes his full potential with the help of his pal, a circus ringmaster mouse. One of Walt Disney’s best animated features – tender, sweet with a terrific soundtrack.

 

 

Setup revolves around a group of friends become involved in a potentially deadly diamond heist. The pic stars Bruce Willis, Ryan Phillippe, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Curtis 50 Cent Jackson.

Special Features: Commentary with Director Mike Gunther and Actor Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, making Setup featurette, interviews with the cast and crew, the weapons used on the set of Setup, plus the trailer gallery.

The Mentalist: The Complete Third Season continues the saga of Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), a phony psychic who insinuates himself into the police department to help solve crimes…including the murder of his wife. The series co-stars Robin Tunney.

 

 

Hawaii 5-O: The First Season is an updated version of the long-running TV classic that began in ’68 and ran until 1980. Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) returns home to Oahu, in order to find his father’s killer. The governor offers him the chance to run his own task force (Five-O). Steve‘s team is joined by Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan) and Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park).

 

Body of Proof: The Complete First Season is emerging on DVD just in time for the premiere of the second season. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) is a medical examiner back from a life-changing accident to solve crimes using her forensic skills. She’s gruff and to the point, which ruffles feathers, but her crime-solving ability makes her invaluable.

 

 

Raising Hope: The Complete First Season stars Lucas Neff as Jimmy, a young man who becomes a single parent to an infant after the mother he had a one-night stand with ends up on death row. Jimmy has help raising his daughter Hope from his oddball family. The series co-stars Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt and Cloris Leachman.

Special Features: Pilot commentary, the unaired network pilot, Don’t Vote for This Episode – extended episode, adorable stars: meet the different Hopes, moments with Mrs. Chance, taking Chances: shooting the season finale, a gag reel, plus deleted and extended scenes.

 

Mike & Molly stars Melissa McCarthy as Molly Flynn and Billy Gardell as Officer Mike Biggs, a new couple that meet at a weight-loss support group. McCarthy just took home the 2011 Emmy award for her performance on the sitcom.

 

 

Law & Order: Los Angeles – The Complete Series is the short-lived spinoff of the successful Law & Order franchise. This time the series is set in the City of Angels and apparently not enough people were interested. After changing the dynamic of the cast, the series never did catch on with viewers.
