Movies on DVD

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never is the documentary about the teen superstar and his road to the top of the charts.

Special Features: Concert dance off – Bieber and his crew bust a move, favorite girl is a full-length concert performance fan-cut by the director, R.I.P. hair flip – where Bieber kisses off that signature ‘60s Beatle hairdo, Giving Back – Bieber’s peeps surprise some fans by handing out concert tickets. Blu-ray combo pack includes a digi copy of the pic.

No Strings Attached stars Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher as friends trying to maintain their status as with benefits by avoiding becoming too involved (other than sex) with each other. Naturally, it doesn’t take long before they realize they want more than just a physical relationship.

Blue Valentine earned Michelle Williams an Oscar nomination for Leading Actress for her portrayal of an unhappily married woman who is drifting further away from her husband (Ryan Gosling).

This is not an easy pic to sit through and there are times when you might just want to slap both of the lead characters (Williams, Gosling). However, Williams and Gosling give remarkable, evocative performances.

Special Features: Deleted scenes, the making-of Blue Valentine featurette, commentary tracks, plus home movies.

The Illusionist is an animated feature from the same company that brought the Academy Award-nominated animated flick, The Triplets of Belleville. Like that pic, the animation feels and looks retro and the music enhances the story.

Special Features: Commentary with Director Sylvain Chomet, The Making of The Illusionist featurette.
