“GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS” – GOWNS, GLITZ, BUT NO SURPRISES

The Hollywood Foreign Press presented the Golden Globe Awards to the movies and actors that group considers to be deserving of this year’s recognition.

Ricky Gervais was back to host the show to stir up a little controversy like last year – and while he was a handful then, Sunday night’s program was pretty much a snooze-fest.

There were also no surprises, except for The Descendants taking the award for Best Motion Picture – Drama. The flick was in the same category with Steven Spielberg’s stunning epic War Horse and Martin Scorsese’s dazzler Hugo.

The rest of the awards went off as predicted.

You can click on the two box below to hear the reaction from the winners in the film as well as television categories.
