Super 8 is the combined efforts of Producer/Directors Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams. The pic is a period sci-fi thiller set in 1979 that revolves around the aftermath of a mysterious train crash. A group of friends who witness the crash while filming a Super-8 movie begin noticing a strange series of happenings around in their small town.

It isn’t long before the residents start disappearing so the buddies begin to investigate into the odd goings-on with the local deputy (Kyle Chandler). Naturally, the truth begins coming into focus, but it’s not something the citizens could have imagined.

Spielberg and Abrams together…expect a wild and suspenseful ride.

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer stars Jordana Beatty as third-grader Judy Moody, who sets out to have the most thrilling summer of her life.

Enter adventurous Aunt Opal (Heather Graham) who, along with Judy’s brother Stink (Parris Mosteller), put that plan for fun into action.

The movie is based on the popular Judy Moody children’s book series penned by Megan McDonald (who also co-wrote the script with Kathy Waugh (Peep and the Big Wide World).
